Talented Friends

It is always inspiring to me when, after not having seen a friend for a while, I come in contact with him or her and have a renewed chance to see amazing talent displayed. I guess talent and ability can so often be taken for granted when it is someone we know; Yes, he is wonderful, or yes, her ability is exceptional. But through the years I have had many surreal moments when I stand in the realization that that person is a friend of mine – and what I am watching is truly beautiful. Can’t explain it – perhaps it is just me.

I recently went to see my friend Terry Beeman in a show he directed, produced, and choreographed. I have photographed Terry several times in years past. He has always been exceptional – he is even more so now. ┬áHis talent, dedication, and passion for his art leave me speechless.

A small selection of photos from an incredible evening:

Seriously, in Italy all you have to do is look and push the button

I would love to spend some time pontificating on world travels and the meaning of life – but it seems that photos are what people are wanting to see. So, I am adding a few more. Enjoy.
